French Press

  • Take 25 gm of coffee and grind it to a very coarse size.
  • Heat 300 ml of water to 90-95c .
  • Rinse your french press with hot water.
  • Put your ground beans into the french press and add 50 ml of hot water.
  • Let it bloom for 30 - 35 seconds.
  • Add the remaining water and place the plunger in position. 
  • Wait for 4 minutes.
  • Plunge for a nice bodied delicious coffee. Enjoy.

 

NOTE

  • If plunging is way too easy or too difficult, vary the grind size accordingly.
  • Vary brew time, water temperature, beans quantity to get your preferred taste.
  • Make sure to remove any remaining coffee from the French press after brewing to stop over extraction.
