Inverted Aeropress
- Bring 220 ml of water to boil (85c).
- Meanwhile, grind 20 gms of your favorite coffee beans. Grind size - a bit finer than French press.
- Assemble your Aeropress with the plunger at the bottom fully extended.
- Put all the ground beans into the Aeropress and make sure it is level.
- Add 30 ml of water making sure all the beans are wet. Wait for 30 seconds. This is the time to take in that enchanting aroma.
- Add the remaining 220 ml of water and stir, agitating all the ground beans.
- Place the filter in the end cap and rinse it with hot water. Screw it securely into the Aeropress.
- Wait for 1.20 minutes.
- Place your favorite cup on the end cap and invert the Aeropress.
- Plunge away till you hear a hissing sound.
- Enjoy delicious coffee. Get pumped.
NOTE
- Vary water temperature, amount of coffee and brew time for find your preferred taste.
- If you have no apparatus to measure the water temperature, just boil the water till it starts bubbling, switch off the heat and wait for 20-25 seconds.
- Your coffee will taste different based on the filter types. A paper filter will give you a lighter body with a clean crisp flavor.
